I have a 05 cbr600rr and when I get it to about 4000rpm I hear this awful grinding noise coming from the right side of the bike, I'm just trying to figure out what it is before I take it to a dealership, posting a video of the noise after work

 

I'm going with cam chain tensioner

 

if it's rattling - it'll be cct.


but grinding? i'll wait for the vid before i tell you for sure

 

 

That would be CCT..... wouldn't run it too long like that, can wear your chain guides out prematurely when it's really bad like that

 

i agree, that should be the cct. you can get an oem replacement one or a manual one.

 

Yes i would say she is a tad loose lol. APE or the new OEM version is my suggestion.
