Default grinding noise

I have a 05 f4i with 500 miles on it. While in neurtal, I notice a grinding like noise with a little vibration on the bars when my clutch is let out. When I put the clutch in, the noise goes away and the vibration is gone. From my experience with cars, I would think its a bad bearing or syncro in the transmission. Its hard to belive this, being the bike is brand new. Has anyone else noticed this with their bike?

it is just the clutch basket making its normal noise...all CBR's do it..at least with cable operated clutch's..I used to sit at red lights in nuetral and make a musical beat by pulling and releasing the lever...it is normal, do not worry about it....you have a stock exhaust huh?? With a aftermarket exhaust it is a lot harder to hear it! with the cable out it is allow the clutch to "float" since it is disengaged, when you pull the cable it puts tension on it.

I was wondering about that, mine does the exact same thing. As long as I am not the only one, and it is a "normal" noise for the bike, cool.
