GPS mount?

This is the mount that I used. I got the idea from SPROCK. Link You take the cap off and drill a small hole in the center of the cap. You find a little longer screw in your garage to put in the bottom of the ball mount. Put the cap back on with the mount and snap the Garmin to the ball mount. I did add a little plastic weld to the ball mount on both ends. If you want a pic I will be happy to go take some from any angle that would make it easier for you.

I've just mounted mine in the steering neck, using a rubber expansion holder, which I made myself. Send me a PM and I'll talk you through making one. I have a 1340 Nuvi, and wife has a 250W Nuvi.
QUOTE PLAYFUL Another (like mine) that mounts at the upper tank mount
I'd be keen to see how that works, please

that was actually a question lol, I seen where you said you made a expansion plug for yours sorta like the one ram-mount has. I thought about one of those when I got mine but I use mine for my video cam too so I didnt want it moving as a turned yanno lol.
My question tho was did you just add the ball to the cap or found a expansion plug that fit n fitted the ball to it?
