Default Where to mount additional lighting...mirror mount?

Hi all;

I want to add additional lights to my 94 1000, and I don't want to do it on the forks. One obvious location would be the mirror mounts. I'm already planning on getting one of the mirror spacer kits that are available. Does anyone make one of those with a built-in light mount? Or maybe a light mount that can be used with the spacers?

I could make something, but I'd rather take advantage of someone else's R&D and just buy them

I've taken some 5150 aluminum and cut and bended it so I could mount a pair of Hella FF50's. I ran the wiring so it came out of the instrument cluster cover right by the mirror mount. I've also tried mounting to the front fender bolts and it hasn't worked out so good (lights keep spinning the mounts).

Interesting, malbojah...

I'm not a big fan of the extra lights, either, unless they are tucked well, and they aren't that noticable.
I think that pic above looks kinda neat, though. I think it makes the bike look "insect" like... if you know what I mean.. lol..
