well after the expert help from you guys i got the 93 f2 running , i changed the plugs, cleaned out the gas tank and fuel filter, and went to crank her but the battery was dead again, put it on the charger and she crunk up, sounded good while idling.... went to ride her down the road and in first she was fine but 2,3 so on she sputtered bad, then she died and the battery was dead again, so i am guessing i need for one a new battery
now as far as the sputtering, i have 2 air hoses that tee right under the gas tank, but there is another open connection( it looks like an F, but i only have 2 hoses)that i have no hose going to or available to go to it, could that be part of my problem, to much air, or should i start with a carb cleaning ..... since it wouldn't crank back up, could my plugs be fould out again already????.... does anyone know where i can get a diagram of where the hoses go , or pictures of them??? i am begining to thing my f2 is half f3

 

if you have a giant vacuum leak (which it sounds like you do considering the empty nipples) the bike will run like ***. chase down those empty nipples and find out what is supposed to be on them, or cap them off.

 

i will do that, thanks for the info.... will a slack *** battery cause any engine problems other than not starting??? as far a peformance?
