hi members of cbr forum im new on this forum and i want to know if any one klnows whats happend whit my cbr, i have a 2006 honda cbr f4i and i was just going out from my house and 20 ft laters it stoped just stoped working, on the gauges just appears 2 lines on the speedometer and the temperature jus the F, if anyone know how to repair this please help me. Thanks
First step is easy, check the fuses. If that's not the problem, have the battery tested.
Also, go through all of the wiring, looking for exposed wires, loose connectors, signs
of a short-circuit (burn marks, melted plastic). Try that first, and if that doesn't fix it, let us know, and we can try other suggestions.
Espero que esto ayude, Ern

I may be mistaken, but aren't the two lines on the speedo telling you the fuel is low? I have black lines on my speedo that start off as 4 or 5 and go down as the fuel is used up. Not sure about the F that is showing though.
Double check the ECU/ignition box. Completely un-plug and then re-plug it.
If it's not tight, it might have come loose just enough to break the connection.
But still look like it's hooked up.
