Default issue with racetech fork springs showa

Hey guys I just finished up installing racetech gold valves comp and rebound and .95 kg springs in my 954 showa forks. I got done setting my spring preload and put everything back together. Now when I press down on the forks i can hear the spring rubbing against the inner fork tube lightly. I checked everything over making sure eveything is straight and true. No problems found, I then swapped the stock springs back in and the rubbing went away. I thought racetech was supposed to be top of the line stuff? Is this an error on my part or do you think i may have got a bad batch of springs... thanks for the input

Don't take only my word for it but heavier springs could easily bend in the tube and rub lightly. If everything is working ok or better as expectouted I wouldn't worry about it. If it gets worse I would then worry.

It is a 2003 cbr954rr I went from a .7kg spring to a .95kg spring which racetech recommended. I took the park number right off of there site and purchased them on amazon. Part number on the box matched up to what was recommended. I contacted racetech first and spoke with louie. He said check to make sure the base plate and upper spacer are all flush which I did and everything is ok. They dont seem to have the best customer support and seemed like he was trying to hurry me off the phone. Not trying to knock the company but after spending 500 dollars in fork accessories from them I would expect a little better support when running into issues like this. I figured I would come on here and see if anyone else ran into this issue.
