Default Gas light not working

99 F4
I ride and get normal gas mileage and everything its just that no light comes on???? anybody know how to fix? I know there is a connection under the tank, i check that and its connected. what do i do next? please help

what do u mean no light comes on?ur gas gauge wont come on until u hit the reserve tank lettin u know u have a lil less than a gallon. Or are u sayin that doesnt even come on??

yea no light comes on at all no matter how much gas is in it. its not that big a deal i just dont wanna have to open my tank every now and then to shake it around and see and hear.

O. then i dunno its gotta be electrical of course. i dunno if these things are like cars and have some kinda sending unit for the gas gauge but if so u might wanna look into that. well sry i couldnt be more help.
