Fuel light not working

Fuel light not working

It will light up when i turn the bike on but it hit 140 miles the other day and it didnt go on. What should i check.Is this a part that breaks alot and needs replaced. Thanks Steve

YOu mean the "Low Fuel" bars or what???

If thats what you mean, you need to ride a bit farther than that.

yea the low fuel bars. so you think i have to go farther than 140 miles before they light up. I have put 3.5 gallons in before and the bars were not on yet. is there a way to test it with a multi meter of something.

Im not sure, I'd just keep in town while riding and just wait till it runs out to tell if they come on or not. Its much easier to push a bike to the gas station than a car so.
