hey hows everyone i have a 1998 900rr fireblade and lately its been giving me electrical problems checked the alternater and its generating power, the battery had to be changed twice in the past month i recently changed the alternater regulater which blew and that fixed the battery issue now i dunno if its the xenon lights that are over heating the fuses cuz its to much power but iv had the lights for 2 years now and they never gave me this problem but early today i was riding it thinking everything was fine and the bike died on me and i checked the main fuse and it was blown i replaced it and now the bikes little accessory lights turn on (signals, neutral light tail lights, etc) but now i check the ignition fuse and it was blown i replaced it three times now cuz everytime i tried to turn the engine on it would blow i had also changed some wiring becuase of oxidation i could use some help thank you

Sounds to me like you have a short somewhere.

That's gonna be a bitch to track down. That's my opinion.

Yeah its a short. But before you start tracking down wires check the battery teminals and see if those are secure, if not, then its a hunting you will go.
