I think my culprit might be rust. I'm about to put all new jets and float needles in this weekend. I'll clean my tank again, flush the lines and put in new fuel filters as well. Hopefully that cures it.

Looks like I might be in the wrong forum now. Jet kit installed and new float needles along with a good cleaning and I can tell the bike is running as it should. The downside is though that I can now clearly tell I've got internal engine damage. It must have happened when the engine hydrolocked. And it feels like it's probably a rod bearing or crank bearing. Also the top sounds like I might have valve damage. Really sucks but it seems I'm in for a rebuild. Does anyone know a good place to source internal parts for this motor. I'm not rich but I want to get this thing running right.

I got my engine parts from partzilla when I had mine rebuilt
