Default Front forks bent...

Greetings! just got a winter project: cbr 600 f4 2000. Front end collision, forks are bent. Any suggestions?

How would YOU fix it? Can they be bent back?

What other forks will fit when i go to Ebay?

(and take it easy on the new guy! LOL ! )

And thanks for your reply!

I would just recomend replacement. The materials dont take bending well. If its a matter of them being off center in the tripple tree, thats another story.

The F4 and the F4i forks SHOULD work. Its a 43 mm stanchion <sp?> Others may as welll, but the length if the F4 is a bit longer I believe. Others may set off the front end in relation to positioning and overall bike geometry.

My 2 cents
