Default Front fork seals

This is probably in the forums somewhere but I'll put it out there, had 1 fork seal leaking on my 12 cbr rr.looked around the internet and found a fork seal cleaner tool.with that in mind, i took and pushed down the dust seal, then torea business card about 1/4 down, slide the card (tore side up) into the main seal and spray some wd40 up into the inside of the seal while moving it around the fork tube,.Mine was leaking pretty bad,had to do this a few times but no leaks now,.saved 400 bucks with wd40 and a tore card.thing is,is dirt gets into the seals and they leak,.try this if you see your seals leaking..

Did you check the fluid level to make sure that there is still enough fluid in it? It might be a good idea to change the fluid to get the dirt out that got inside from pushing it in with the card. It should be done every couple of years anyway.

I have the OEM oil and seal's. Mine just started to leak,I'd put them in but don't have away of holding the front end up,done dropped it off my truck once unloading it and don't want to go threw that again. Lol..me and my cousins going to the snake in GA in a week or so,so might take it to the dealer later if it ever starts leaking again. Have had the front wheel off the ground several times so far, and came down harder than I like to,it happens, lol,,,,but dry as a bone for now😁😁😁
