Default Forget the post-it's the regulator/rectifier

I've got a 91 F2 with 18K miles on it. I was idling in traffic, and, the bike dies. I try the starter, and, it kicks over 2-3 times, but doesn't fire up. I push it off into a gas station and let it set a second. Gave it afew minutes and tried again. This time it tried to turn over 5-6 times before stopping, but, still didn't fire up. So, I towed it home and, so she sits. I pulled the battery out, but, forgot the charger. I've had the bike about 2 and a half years. I read somewhere that the batteries on the bikes last about 3 years. Is this true? If so, just simply replacing the battery could be it? Any thoughts? Regulator/Rect?

Default RE: F2 won't start-battery?

Sorry about wasting space on the site. After further searching, and, further disassemble of the bike, the regulator rectifier connector is burned up. So, I'll be ordering a used GSXR Reg/Rec tonight.
