Best regulator rectifier for 954
To answer the last part first absolutely, just have to get the correct plug and your ready to roll. But which bike? I have no idea lol I know a common upgrade is to use the gsxr reg but I know some years are terrible. Hope this helps do a quick search and you should be able to find your answer.
I use Ricks heavy duty and it has worked couple of years whitout any problems. It is attched whit abikos because the plug is very hard to find and the stator plugs wires had taken some damage from the old rectifier that wen't bad. The bigger it is the better. Bigger can dispatch better the heat.

If your reg is like my 929's, its beefy with cooling fins already. These regulators hold up well, which is more than I can say for the stator. 45k on the original unit speaks volumes for how its made.
Stick with the oem part.
Stick with the oem part.
Hi guys what does the black wire do which is coming out from the rectifier? i have a spare recti from the F4i and it doesn't has the black, can i connect the f4i recti and ground the black wire. Have a look at the diagram, black wire is the left most wire from the rectifier in the diagram.
guy's can ask you a question about the regulator? as we know the left part of the cbr 954 the cover of the regulator it's too much "outside" of the bike and as we already know if you fall from the left part the first part that have damage is the cover of the regulator..exist a regulator (it's just an idea the mine,im asking to you because you know more better than me for sure) exept the hrc, more little to fit on the 954 with a cover like the hrc regulator?
