Default f4 jetting questions

Ok, I am new to the motorcycle world and have been riding my 00 f4 for about 2000 miles. So far so good.

My question is, I bought the bike with an Erion exhaust on it, but I dont know if its a full or just slip on. I looked at it from underneath, and its all one peice and doesnt look like a slip on. But the header does lOOk stock. I just dont know if its is or not.

Ok so if its a full then I should rejet right? Because the guy that had it before me said he didnt yet. I just recently did a full tune up on it and added a k&n filter.

So as of now I have a K&N filter and an unknown Erion exhaust because I am way to new to bikes.

I want to rejet, but what kit/combo is the best bet for me. I am mechanically inclined enough to do it. I have done alot of work on cars, butthis is my first stab at bikes.

I dont have any places in my town that have a dyno, so I will be pretty much installing everything by what should work for my setup. Any bit of info and experience will be greatly apreciated.

Thanks
Chris

I am sure that I can do it, I just wanted to make sure it wasnt a waste of money and time.

So is the Dyno jet and K&N kit the same?

Ive heard of them been sold as one Kit together but i couldnt find one so i bought them seperate. I got the Jet kit for about $80.00 and the filter for about $40.00. it will definatly give you more power but i also have the Vortex acceleration kit so that helps alot too!!

Cool. Is the dynbo jet kit around the same as the K&N? I heard they have the same size jets, but the K&N is alot cheaper.

I didnt know K&N had a jet kit the only kit ive heard of was Dyno jet stage 1 with a K&N filter.I chose Dynojet because they have a good reputation.

Yeah K&N makes a jet kit specifically for the filter. I will probebly go with the dyno jet kit for the same reasons.

Ok since I have the Erion exhaust I went to there site and they said that they recomend their Erion Dyno Jet Kit. Now is this the same kit as the Dyno Jet stage 1 kit? I assume it is, but just want to make sure.
