Default cbr600 f2 jetting questions

well im new to the whole street bike scene(ride dirtbikes) and am planning on getting a 93 cbr600 that needs all fairings and a seat. the bike runs for like 30min. then it will foul out the plugs because it runs to rich, the bike has 17k miles and yoshi pipe im getting it for only $300 and would like to have a bike to learn on. was wondering what size jets to use. i live at 2700ft elevation but go to like 2400ft sometimes. i was told that the two inner cylinders run a bigger jet then the 2 outside one but im not sure. thanks for the help

Does it run fine for that 30 minutes? Maybe the air cleaner is clogged. Maybe the floats are stuck open, maybe the choke is stuck, maybe the exhaust is clogged. If its been sitting for a while a litte critter might have built a nest in the bike somewhere. Check out the Carb Rebuild thread. There is a jet kit data base in the F2 section somewhere. I would clean them first, install fresh plug, and air filter. Get a Clymer Manual on your bike they are worth every penny. Bigger jets in the middle 2 carbs are because the 2 middle cylinders run hotter than the outside 2. But I dont think it matters too much as long as your not lean across all four. Better to be a little on the rich side to be safe.

yes he said it ran fine but it would bag a lot because its getting to much fuel. he cleaned out the carbs and he just put a new yoshi exhaust on it. thanks for the help
