Default f1 ignition

i cant find an ignition specifically for an f1 will a f2 ignition and gas cap work? lost the dang key so i busted the ignition, was moving needed to be able to move it left steering locked. i have a 1990 f1, thanks

not sure about the ignition. i have asked about the gas cap before and no one really told me. the only conclusion i have come to is it probably will since you can by universal keyless caps for F1-F4.

i have not tried and am unsure oh how they BOLT up, with newer caps there is a base that stays, and only the center is removed. as where our entire cap is removed. i am not sure if the base bolts to the tank, or if it is more of a clamp type bolting. i was going to try with an F2, but just have not yet. let me know if you try.
