so the ignition on my 2001 f4i broke yesterday. so I hot wired it by ripping the wires out from the bottom of the ignition and and touched the wires together and it started right up. Now I have a new ignition and it wont turn on. When i try to hotwire it like yesterday there is no power. Any idea what happened? The new ignition come with the wiring and clip

 

Check your fuses.
