I have noticed the past few weeks, when the fan comes on, my bike seems to want to die, I have to give it gas while ideling so it idels smooth?

It idels fine until the fan actually comes on, then it bounces up and down, if I dont give it some gas, then it will actually die? any suggestions on what to check, was thinking the battery, will check tommorow but not sure if thats the real problem or not

 

it sounds electrical, maybe your right about the battery....could be that its not charging properly....

 

Thats what I was thinking, It idels around 1500rpm, but when the fan kicks in, it drops to about 1k - and then will start bouncing up and down, if I dont give it gas it will die....I havent changed the battery since I got the bike a little over a year ago, but just curious as if there was anything else I could check?

 

voltage rectifier, coils, short in fan switch/wiring.....

electical is the biggest pain in the *** on a bike....ugh
