Default engine locked-up.. no startt.

Hi, i have an 02 cbr600 f4i.. Well now its been 6 months and i haven't ride it. Today i was going to changed the oil and when i drain it, it was nothing but gas/fuel that came out of the oil drain. I was shocked!!!!!! so i put new oil in and fill up the gas.. and tried to start it, and the engine won't start, we gave it a push and see if its start that way and the tires won't even move.
the engine is lock!! CAN SOMEONE PLeassse help me and tell me what might've happened.

i remember the last time i rode it, it was rough. i had to keep revving so the bike won't cut off on me... and that was a long time ago(6 month+)

Thanks.

Does the starter work (or try to work?)
OK There are two possibilities. 1/ Your battery is totally knackerd and you need to replace it, and with luck the bike may just be still be in gear. After six months I doubt it would be worth charging it up, either way, make sure it's got power.

2/ You have seized motor, that means the donk just become a paper weight, (that's the worst scenario), this could have happened the last time you got off the bike. So chances are it ran out of oil last time you rode it, which would explain why it was running rough the last time.

There is a small chance that you may have a partially seized motor (and I've got my fingers crossed for you), caused by corrosion forming in the piston sleeves (bore) and probably the valves. Some times when you leave a bike for long periods, petrol can seep pass the rings into the oil, thinning it out, You can try and fix it by removing the camshaft cover, the cams themselves, and pouring a small amount of oil into the barrells. Letting it sit for a day or so to enable the oil to penertrate. Then cranking the motor (don't try & start it, if there is any movement you just need to get that oil around the pistons). Fingers crossed it works, then fire her up , let it warm up a bit, then change the oil and replace it.
I suspect though that your going to have to remove the head. In which case you may need to weigh up the option of total rebuild vs a new or reconditioned donk, price wise.
I've got to be honest here dude, it doesn't bode well [], good luck

update, i pull all the plugs and push the engine back and foward and keep doing it until i saw gas poor out the cylinder and now the engine is not locked any more.

Question*** there's 2 hose that come out from the gas tank, one the that big main one and there's another one that look like it goes to some metal hose/rail that link to the injectors. even with the key off/out i can see the gas/fule drips slowly from there. does anyone know what is that line go to and what does it do? i think that might be the problem but not sure yet.

Hey bro, had the same prob with my 01. It was my fuel pressure regulator (75 bucks). The diaphram was dry-rotted so it was sucking fuel into the throttleboddy and hydro locking the engine. Make sure you check all the fuses as I blew my starter fuse by trying to force the motor to crank. Pull the plugs, replace the fuel pressure regulator and crank the motor without the plugs being in. It is also a good idea to unplug the fuel pump too and just crank the motor for about 20-30 seconds to clear all the fuel out of the crank case.
Replace the plugs, preferably with new and plug the fuelpump back in. I think that will do it for you oh yeah very important, change the oil! it is probably saturated with fuel. Hope this helps.

Thanks , one more question. I took the fuel tank out completely with the fuel pump still in it with the 2 hose, is it suppose to leak gas even those theres no power to the pump? both of the fuel line drips gas out and i believe it not suppose to do that since the pump is not On/Working there's should be no gas drips. am i right or that's normal for the tank.

Yeah Bro, mine did the same thing. Not sure if it is normal or not, you would think not. It should not harm anything though, unless it was leaking past the fuel pressure regulator into the crankcase. Mine didnt exactly pour out just slowly leaked. Hope this helps and let us know if that worked for you. peace!

Thanks Sp2flip. i went out to a local bike shop and was able to get the whole FPR and Injector with rails and everything for $100. put it in the bike and now its start/crank with no problem. i can't see any more gas leak and hopefully it won't.

Well, thanks for your help alot. hopefully someone might found help thread helpfull if they run into this problem in the future.
