I have a 2012 cbr250rac, the model with abs. The problem with it is that when it goes into higher rpms in any gear the engine will shut off or die, something like that. It doesnt have a lot of miles on it, less than 5,000. It use to rune perfectly and all of a sudden it started having this problem. The only thing it needs is an oil change(very slightly, Not over 500 miles due) but the oil still looks good and isnt low. I dont know if its a mechanical problem or something simple. I dont think its the clutch because of the little miles it has on it and because it doesnt feel like it stumbles in 1st when i just gas it from a stop. But if i dont go into higher rpms like over 6500 rpms if runs perfect. I need to know whats wrong with it or if anyone has suggestions that would be great, anything will help. Thanks in advance.

 

Hi ,just check that your Air intake isn't blocked, take it for a short run minus the air filter see how it goes
