Default electrical problems

i just got my replacement rectifier for my 1995 cbr 900rr .well it took alot to get off because the plastic in the center melted itself to the plastic on the wiring harness.it looks black and fryed on the center wire. i obviously dont want to put the new rectifier on yet. but im not sure what do do next.any suggestions?

to be more specific what is the best way to test these wires to make sure it's not going to fry my new rectifier?

Why chance it? Cut the old connector off and replace it.

I believe this will replace the OEM connector on the wire harness. These guys make replacement plug and play r/r and sell this incase the connector on the harness is fried. You can try contacting them to be sure

thanks alot you are right i dont want to risk it .wasnt sure they had a place online that i could get on so easily. thanks i just ordered one.
