Default Draining Carbs for Winter Storage

Anyone have a simple how to - or should I say - a step-by-step proceedure for draining the fuel out of the carbs on a 1991 600F2?

Any help and even a few photos would be a GREAT help.

I know... beggers can't be choosers.

Thanks guys - in advance.

Start the bike with gas off and let it run out of fuel, Then loosen the drain screws in the float bowls. The screws will be facing the side of the bike and are a flathead type, The bowls will have a nipple to attach a drain hose or may have them from the factory. Sorry no pics hope this helps

No can do with the idea of shutting off the gas and letting it run out of fuel, as I tried that last year and before I knew it the bike was overheating spewing radiator fluid all over the garage floor!

However, I didn't attempt to drain the float bowls as you've suggeted, which I'll give a try. I'm hoping (AND) praying that this can be done with a long shaft screw driver and by only having to remove the inspection "doors" on either side of the lower farings. I really don't want to have to deal with removing the lower fairings if at all possible!
