Everytime I come to a stop I shift all the way to first, If you arent rolling than the tranny isnt spinning and the syncronizers arent turning. You will notice it most definatelly when you are at a dead stop and you put it in nuetral and you try to shift into first and it sticks in nuetral. All you have to do is roll forward or back a few inches to let the sycs. turn so it will allow it to shift into first. Your just shifting down from high gears when you are going to slow.
