Digital Speedometer Problems F3
So I have a 1991 CBR 600 with a CBR F3 engine and most electrical parts. My issue comes when I'm attempting to put a digital speedometer that has a analog or cable driven speedo connection onto my F3 engine that has the 3 wired speed sensor. I'm lost on what I can do.
Here is the cheapo speedo I got. LCD Digital Speedometer Odometer Tachometer for Motorcycle ATV Scooter Dirt Bike | eBay
You can see if you scroll through the pics where the speedo cable would connect to on the back.

So it looking like this is my situation. It looks like if I cannot work from electrical speedo to mechanical. Then what I have to do is work backward and go back to mechanical only. As in speed cable on an F2. So here is another question, I have a F3 fork, wheel, and rotors. Can I put an F2 front wheel speed sensor like this??

Or will it not fit on the F3 fork? Or do you have any other suggestion on how I can make my mechanical speedometer input on my my new gauges work?

I don't see why the electronic one wouldn't work. If it comes with documentation, you should be able to find a source of ignition for the engine rpm. As for speed, it sounds like it uses a magnet and Hall effect IC to detect the rotation of the wheel. This would most likely be a magnet that gets attached to the wheel somewhere and a sensor mounted to the fork or swingarm somewhere so it detects the magnet as it goes by.
As for F2 and F3 fork parts, they're not interchangeable.
