Angry Crashed my 08 cbr Help me out

The other day I was pulling around a corner at the speed limit and one of the locals threw sand all over the blind corner causing me to lay my bike down at 50. The bike and me slid for a while until I stopped and the bike kept going until it landed in a ditch. My front right fairing is gone and the light too. The entire right side is scraped, I'm going to buy new plastic but the only thing that is damaged on the bike mechanically is the throttle, it wont snap back.

any help with the throttle would be great, just a little advice

The balance weight at the end of the bar has probably been pushed flush up against the throttle, try loosening off the weight or even loosening up with a minor (tiny) shift of the throttle housing. What about the d*ck with the sand, wots that all about, I reckon he should shoulder some of the cost for your off.
Still, bad luck, glad your ok.

My guess is that the bar is bent along with the throttle tube being damaged.

first guess is the grip is slid up hindering it. Mine do that every time I trailer it (I really need the new CD or better harness lol).

+1 all around (including "the dick with the sand")

Just disassemble that whole handle, you'll come acorss the prob. Something's bent or lodged (or both). The throttle cable just runs from there down to the engine, and the chances of that having come loose or tangled down there are slim to none, so your prob is up in the handle assembly.

What did you do to prompt someone to throw sand in the road to make you wreck?

I dont think he meant someone put sand there because he was coming but more like there was construction somewhere in the area or some sand fell out of a truck and caused him to wreck. Either way sucks about your 08, best bike I've ever ridden. Hope you get it back up and running soon.
