So last week I rode with my friends at Saratoga, Highway 9 twisties and crashed my bike at a 20mph hairpin.

I low sided the left side of my bike, flew into the bushes. all the fairings are destroyed. messed up the kill switch right assembly. the frame is still good.

The headlights are still good. I ordered the repsol fairing set and the right hand side kill switch assembly. I installed everything. Gauges, lights all still works, however, I can't seem to start the bike. It would just go.. " che che che che che" as i press the start button but it just wont fire up.

anyone have any suggestions, or ideas. I'm trying to avoid taking it to the shop if its something i can do.

 

when you installed the kill swith did you reconnect the wires in the right way? im just thinking that off is on and vice versa lol

 

find any messed up wires or unplugged plugs ?

 

I'll reconnect the kill switch wires. the only unplugged wires are just the rear lights, turn signals, sides, license plate lights. I talked to someone at cyclegears bike shop, and he said it happens a lot. could be something with the tip sensor. i dont know where that is located at. um.. any more ideas?

 

okay so i took off the headlights, moved the tip sensor a little bit. it looks fine. wires connected. install the headlights back on. started the bike and it TURNED ON! however, it idled for about 5mins, i revved the bike and the rpms was just skipping and bouncing around, looked crazy.then after another 2-3mins it just turned off and wont start again.

and my fi light is blinkin, then it stays on.
