coolant tank
Just bought a used 1987 Honda CBR 600, and I noticed that there were two hoses sticking out of the bottom of the bike, I noticed that the coolant tank was empty and I decided to put coolant in it....
Then quickly it leaked out of the two hoses at the bottom of the bike,
How can I reconnect the hoses if possible?
Please Help!
Thanks

A little on the older side for shop manuals on line here. That's your best option, buy the book and use it.
But you can check here.
But you can check here.
Afternoon,
This is a bit strange, do you mean the expansion tank, or the actual pressure cap which is in a different place (up front). The top of the cap on the expansion bottle, (under right side panel) should have a tube that runs to the bottom of the bike. The expansion bottle should have a tube that runs from the bottom of the bottle up to the actual filler cap at the front of the bike to allow fluid movement backwards and forwards, as the expansion bottle is not pressurised, only receives at pressure (if you get my drift) Are you sure you didnt overfill it and reach the overflow? OR, which is likely, has someone connected the expansion tubes round the wrong way, cos this would cause your problem. To recap, bottom of bottle runs to the filler cap at the front, top of expansion bottle cap is the "breather" which sticks out under bike.
Hope that helped a bit
