i have a 88 cbr and cant see the fluid level on the tank. i think it is full but is there another way to tell the level. thank you

 

i have a hard time telling too, i always think its empty, put water in it and it overflows.....i think thats just about it.

 

if you have regular coolant in the tank and shine a flashlight to the side, you should see the green tinge. that will tell you how far the coolant level is. or if you are using water, hopefully deionized, you can add food coloring, something dark and that will tell you how far the coolant level is. if you use food coloring, make sure it won't stain the plastic and all you need is a couple drops or enough to turn the coolant dark enough to see.
