So I drained and flushed my radiator today, but when I was going to flush my reserve tank, I didn't think I would be able to secure the radiatory syphon hose back on to the reserve tank because of that tiny little clamp that holds it on (that I didn't have much room to get to [from the left side]). So now I just have the water that I wanted to use to flush my reserve tank sittin in there.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

 

If you REALLY want it out, disassemble it. if you're skerd of doing it, leave it alone. it's not going to matter one way or the other.

 

any suggestions on how to take the clamp off? and a way to put it back on or should I just rip the clamp off with some needle nose and buy a new one

push the two circles towards each other and beyond. i usually just grab the end that's going away from me and pull it. that will open it up and allow you to manipulate it. it's a spring so it'll close back up if you release it.
