Bleeding Coolant System on Hurricane
So maybe I'm missing something easy, but to my knowledge bleeding the coolant systems is easy, just run/blip throttle with radiator cap off and add coolant to reservoir bottle as needed. However, on the hurricane the fuel tank blocks the radiator filler cap, so am I supposed to run it with tank off while I bleed the system? or take cap off then replace tank then bleed?
An auxiliary fuel supply makes it really easy, but I haven't had a chance to fab one up yet to use in the garage. Basically something like this so you can run the bike with the fuel tank removed.. http://www.revzilla.com/product/moti...Fe47MgodmBsAgg
What I have done in the past is set the fuel tank on a cart next to the bike and ran it that way. There's barely enough slack in the fuel hose but it works. The aux tank would be a much better solution.

I hook a funnel to the fuel line. Pull the fuel line out so you can strap the funnel to the handle bar on the left side. Pour some fuel in the funnel and run the motor. Some may think this is dangerous but just don't fill the funnel to the top. You don't need much fuel.
