Default Clutch question

Ok so I am out tonight crusing along around 65 70......I go to crack it and the RPMs jump up, the bike feels like its going nowhere and then as the RPMs start to drop it feels like its grabbing.......clutch going bad??? And if it is going bad how hard is it to replace? Kevlar or CF to replace it with? I am good with engines on cars and bikes except for trannys and clutches. Never done a clutch on a bike but know my way around tools and all.

Settle down there. You've got a long way before you declare a clutch bad.

Have you taken care of all the routine maintenence, such as adjusting your clutch cable to compensate for wear? How much play do you have in the handle? How many miles does the clutch have on it? How hard \ easy is it to pull the handle in?

These answers will help us narrow the issue down pretty quick.
