clutch question..
i changed the clutch friction plates and cluth is still slipping i reopend the clutch case and the plates seems to look ok but they seemed dry..? the guy at the dealer said it sounds like messed up steel plates can i just changed the steel plates or do i need to change both? iv riden about 300 miles on them. thanks for the help

Did you only change the friction plates and nothing else?
I would suggest changing everything as everything needs to match up. A new set of friction plates on old worn out steel plates will more than likely still slip. you should also change out the springs too.
As far as still using your friciton plates, I would say no. 300 miles isnt much, but they have surely worn to the old steel plates. A new set of steel plates, and they will wear even more leaving very little left.
I would buy a complete kit and start over.
