does anyone know how to remove the speed limiter on an 2004 honda cbr 600rr?

 

would like to know how to do that on a 2001 f4i and 2003 954rr email at dustinsgurl6@hotmail.com

 

I was not aware that those bikes were speed limited, only a rev limiter ... why on earth would you wanna get rid of that? The few extra RPMs you can squeeze out are very hard on a stock motor and torque starts going south on you real fast so you're not gaining much.

Better to mod the engine and get more power out of the mid range ... but that's just me

 

Only the 'Busa and ZX14 have a speed limiter (186mph), at least that's my understanding. All other bikes are only limited to the true top speed of the bike. Looks like you need more power

 

I can go 140mph on my 600rr thats plenty fast enough!!!
