A broken 3 clutch pins trying to get the clutch cover on right what am I doing wrong

 

Do you mean the alignment pins? They should fit easily by hand. If you're tightening against them under tension, something has gone wrong

1) Remove all pins. Fit clutch cover by hand and ensure it sits flush against the crankcase. If it doesn't, you should redo the clutch job paying careful attention to the manual

2) Reinstall pins. Fit clutch cover by hand and ensure it sits flush against the crankcase. Don't install the bolts until it does. You might need to go in with a pick and scrape out the holes where the pins go

 

o me I mean the the clutch pin that attaches to the clutch cable and I get it all flushed and then as soon as I pull the clutch in it breaks

 

Nobody likes rework, but she's a great teacher

I'd go back and check your work. Confirm installation and adjustment
