Default Clicking sound during acceleration Help!

I have a 1991 Cbr 600. It makes a clicking sound but only when in gear and only when accelerating. The faster I accelerate the faster it clicks. Not any other time. Any ideas of what this could be? Thanks

It could be the CCT ( cam chain tensioner lifter) part. It's on the right side of the engine just behind the cylinder wall, or cylinder head. That's what they do when their bad or seriously worn out. Check RonAyers or ServiceHonda for a new one.

Check the tension on the chain also. If it's too loose you'll get chain lash on acceleration causing it to slap around.

Lube your chain, and adjust if needed
