Default cleaning up carbon weave

Hi all,

ive just fitted a remus carbon exhaust to my f2, its been kicking around the garage for a long while. It has a carbon fibre wrap but no laquer/resin.

was just wondering if anybody knew how i could get it looking good again? products? polish? laquer? resin?

Wax polish and seal as you would with paint

I really dont know, but im thinkingmdegrease, fiberglass resin(carbon fiber is pretty much fiberglass), let it dry out, sand it smooth down to 1000 grit, then polish the hell out of it with a car polisher and car polish.

so its only the Fiber? no resin/hardener added to it yet? not sure, i used to mess with carbon fiber alot and i know it does yellow overtime if its left out in the sun depending on the type of resin you used. but its its just the cloth, not sure b\c the carbon is on the fibersand over time they will come off and it will start to get white.

p.s. but if it is hardened... use Clean-solve from Worth products

Yeah it is just the fibres.

If i was to resin/laquer it, would i need to find a heat resistant one?
