Chain and Sprokets

Looking to get new chain and sprokets for my 06 600rr. Like to keep it the same teeth as the OEM sprokets. What is the the number of teeth on the OEM front and rear sprokets and chain sz? I believe that it is 16/42 and 520 chain. I would like to go with 525 chain. Is that good. What brand should I go with? Any help would be great thanks

I'm sure the OEM chain is not 520, it's 525. Get a manual for your bike and find out.

yeah, its not a 520 stock. when you order your chain, most places will have the stock ratios availble in a kit.

according to vortex website, the stock ratio is 43/16 for a 03-06 600RR. the 07-08's are 42/16.
