My brothers bike, after coming home from week of vacation, has an electrical problem. When we have the diehard jumper box connected to the battery, and try to start it, it will not work. Tried 2amp, 40amp, and 200amp jump, same problem.

Problem:

When I turn key to ON
- alarm goes "beep BeeP," pause for around 5 seconds and repeats. Hazards also come on.
- When I switch the fuel pump on, the speedo will go to 15, and if I try to start it, one side of headlight comes on and the speedo will show lower number. NO fuel pump sound at all.


Friends said it could be the battery is bad, that it may have crossed cells inside, which disrupts the whole charging system and causes electrical havoc. What could it be?

I just changed the CCT as well, but am sure I got all the plugs connected again.
