RE: cbr f4 dies when using throttle
Sounds like you have an air/fuel problem. If you idle with the choke pulled, there's an issue for sure. I'd say rebuild/have the carb rebuilt. This is however dependant on whether or not your air cleaner is in good shape, check it.

BUMP ______ I have a 2000 cbr600f4 and was wondering if this has been cured! I just ran through the carbs...Seems like its getting too much air...I DO have the ram air tubes off of the bike, am running a K&N filter AND it has a Muzzy exhaust...I just got it like this a week ago and have it fitted with a cbr1000rr kit..Definately looks nasty but runs like crap! i have to eeease on the throttle or else it will die!..I figure either the bike needs to be jetted or omitting the ram air tubes and covers allows for too much air at lower rpms? i'll try taping off the the airbox holes and report back..
