05 F4i Dies when throttle is applied?!
So a little background.
I just purchased (about a month ago) an 05 CBR F4i. Completely stock, and I absolutely love it. Shes still under 5,800 miles.
Rode to work (25 mile drive) without any problem whatsoever. However, fixing to leave (7 hours later) I began to run into problems.
I let the bike warm up for awhile, about 5 minutes before trying to take off. I noticed the red F4i light was flashing, and wasn't sure what to make of it. I tried to rev the engine a little bit and as soon as i applied even a little throttle the engine would die.
This procedure basically repeats itself about 5-8 times in a row until finally
she starts running like normal. Rode the bike all the way home without a problem.
Any ideas on what this could be? I haven't even a clue were to start trouble shooting. Any help at all would be appreciated!
Sorry for the long read, and thanks in advance!

Watch how many times the red light flashes before it stops. it will decode an error code on your bike.
My guess it will be a code 8 (8 short blinks), which is a throttle position sensor code. my bike was experiencing the same problems and it ended up being a loose connection at the throttle position sensor.
Check the code first and see what you come up with.
