Default CBR 600 F4 - Dies when use the throttle.

Ok guys, new to the forum so I hope I am posting in the correct area. I bought my bike last season, It's been running fine until the other day when it just died on me in the middle of the highway at 60mph. After a lot of troubleshooting I have come to an odd problem. My bike will stay running on idle (sometimes).. I find that when I have a battery charger hooked up the bike will idle just fine and I can rev it all I want.. Once I take the charger off the bike seems to start choking, and if I try to use the throttle quickly it just dies.. Any help will be appreciated.

I had a very similar sounding problem with my f4 ended up being the fuel pump. I was told a lot that they either work or don't work, there's no middle ground but that was lies lol. The shop said they can start cuttin in and out and then start pumping weak so the bike runs like its starving. New pump and it was good to go

Just to chime in I have the same issue. My bike went down couple weeks got most of the repairs done and fired it up yesterday. Idled okay but as soon as I tried to rev it up it would die. But my fuel pump def sounds like it is on it's last leg though it's making a clicking/humming noise so going to replace it here soon.

P.S. Just had the headers on the bike and DAMN that thing is LOUD!!! HAHA!!

OK so it turned out to be my Regulator Rectifier, also I needed new spark plugs. Thing runs like a champ now. However, the other day I was riding and the bike just stalled on me.. I'm thinking maybe I flooded it? Kinda strange that it happened while I was cruising on the highway. It started right up with no problem after about 30 min.. Haven't had a problem since.

Since it was your R/R that failed I would keep an eye on your alternator as well. It might be close to dieing and fried your R/R. Not saying replace it just yet just keep an eye on it.
