I don't think it was in limp mode as I stated before he used to race it, my brothers mate who got the bike of tht person said it has a race engine and it will wheelee through all the gears weather thats true or not I don't no, but he's into bikes in a big way and wouldn't lie, he said he was going to try and get some info for me but he only sees my brother so dam not holding my breath

if you look at the ecu the blue and white wire ends up thereby just need to sort out the speed sensor for the mot

well I spliced the speedo sensor wires in the switch side and the clocks side spun the wheel with a drill and no joy the needle didn't move about ready to give up, looks as though I won't be riding it this summer, might even think about selling it

That test should be done with a multi meter , page 19-13 at the connector

Well good news I think when I join the wires from the speed sensor straight to the clocks the speedo works,I don’t no why when you join them further down the loom it don’t work beats me
