Default CBR 600 F2 starting problems

Hi my CBR is playing up. it starts most of the time but sometimes it dosent start off the button and i have to bump it to make it start. i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem or if anyone knows how i could fix it

First step, pull the battery and have it tested at the local auto store. For free.
If battery tests good, check the starter relay. if it tests good, check to see if the
starter is good. While you're in there check the connector for the R/R (on the right side
of the bike). Look for heat-sign. i.e. melting, burnt, warping of the plastic.

Those are the probable spots. You might also inspect the switch, itself. It could, also,
be the point of failure.

Hi, when i go to the bike it starts maybe 9 out of 10 times, its an intermitant problem and i wonder if anybody has had this happen to them before?! i have noticed a little light to the right and down from the clocks and wonder if the bike has had a factory fitted alarm.
The light dosent come on at all. cheers Howard
