Default Can lower fairing scratches be repaired?

Got an '04 CBR1000RR. The lower right fairing has some curb scratches (don't ask) that aren't very deep. Is there a way to repair these without leaving more scratches? Any way to buff them out?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

depends on how bad the scratches are. Your idea of bad might be totally different than mine. If they aren't too bad, some 3M buffing compund will help, followed by a fine cut polishing compound. If they are bad like you can feel them, I have used turtlewax matching polish, its made by turtle wax and they come in a variety of popular colors. Essentially, its a paste buffing compund specific to your general color, and it comes with a crayon looking pencil. You take the crayon thing and rub over the scratches filing them in, and next use the buffing compound. I've used it on cars, trucks and bikes, and does a fairly decent job considering what I was working with.
