Fairing Repairs Thread: Mid & Lower Fairing Bracketry?
So the 1000rr i bought has some damage to the right mid & lower fairings on the right side from a low speed lowside.
So i've priced out the fairing parts from Servicehonda.com :
RH Mid Cowling: $206.78
RH Lower Cowling: $265.95
But im trying to see if there are brackets underneath the fairings that might be bent & may need to be replaced. I've got the 2004 factory service manual, & it doesnt say anything about fairing bracketry, other than the upper fairing stay bracket:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-6-...spagenameZWD1V
So are there any other brackets or to the fairings bolt directly to the frame? I cant find my answer from the Service manual.

RE: Fairing Repairs Thread: Mid & Lower Fairing Bracketry?
2004
the only damage is cosmetic, just the mid & lower fairings & a little bit of scratching on the upper cowl.
but the black inner fairing is bemt, so my mechanic said that there is probably a bent fairing bracket that i'd have to replace, i just cant seem to find that replacement part online anywhere
