Default camshaft sprocket bolts

I HAVE 94 CBR 600 F2 THAT WOULD NOT START.THOUGHT I WAS HAVING PROBLEMS WITH VALVES ONLY TO FIND OUT AFTER TAKING HEAD COVER OFF THAT THE TWO BOLTS THAT HOLD THE SPROCKET ON THE EX CAMSHAFT WERE MISSING.DID FIND ONE DOWN BY CHAIN ADJ CANT FIND OTHER ONE.GOING TO DROP OIL PAN .DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY ADVISE TO WHERE I AM AT RIGHT KNOW THANKS

Sounds like you have the right ideas so far, only thing i would add is when you drain your oil run it thru a screen, see if you come up with any bits/shavings. Might have chewed up a bolt or other parts.
