Default Fitment Q

I've got a 92 F2 frame (previous owner completely fried the block) so...I'm in need of a motor....I'm wondering if the motor from a 97F3 will fit w/ no problems. It looks to be the same motor, I just don't know about the fitment. Anyone have a clue as to whether this will work or not?

Thanks

Default RE: Fitment Q

from my understandings the f3 motor should fit fine, as long as your not putting a higher cc engine in.. The only problem you might run intoo is the coolent hose... from the looks of the f3's the hoses are alittle different and might rub on your subframe.... I may be wrong tho.. can anyone correct me??

A quick fix for the hose problem.. you could wrap the mid section of the house in a weather stripping.. or something that will stop the hose from rubbing.. let me know how it goes.
