Default Bypassing the kickstand safety swith

So after tearing my bike apart and putting it back together my bike wont start, it won't even click like literally nothing happens and yes my fuses are good and my battery is at 12.5V......one of my buddies recommended I bypass my kickstand...I just want to know could that solve my clicking problem? I already tried looking for the bas but my bike is a 2000 CBR and apparently the 2001 f4i's were the first year they put the bas in them.....both me and my buddies have done research and can only pinpoint the problem to the kickstand safety switch...so if you guys have any idea on what's wrong let me know....I am this close to taking it to a shop near by...thanks

I not sure about F4i's but my old 94 had a 3 wire connection for the kickstand safety switch. I followed it from the kickstand to where it plugged in, somewhere beside the battery, unplugged and remove the whole kickstand and safety switch assembly. Then jumper the two outside wires on the 3 wire plug where it used to plug in.
